Salute to Freedom (Saturday, May 24 - Monday, May 26 - Fireworks on Sunday, May 25)

Salute to Freedom observes and recognizes the sacrifices of men and women who have served in the Armed Forces and their families who have supported them.

It will be held at Nashville Shores from Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26, 2008. Considered the traditional summer kick-off for Middle Tennessee, Nashville Shores’ Memorial Weekend features a variety of activities, exhibits and events for families. 

The All Veterans Reunion Dinner, which is a special summer buffet that will be held on Sunday, May 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for just $5 for veterans and members of the Armed Forces and their families. They will also receive half-off tickets for the entire weekend.

The water park will also be free to the public after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25. That evening features the All Veterans Reunion Dinner, a moving flag raising ceremony, a beach concert, hot air balloon rides, and fireworks. 

4th Annual Shores & Stripes Boat Parade (Friday, July 4 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

On Friday, July 4, Nashville Shores Marina is proud to present the 2008 "Shores and Stripes" Boat Parade featuring more than $1,000 in prizes with proceeds benefitting the Nashville Sailing Foundation. There is a $20 entry fee which inlcudes a free lunch.
